These terms govern your use of the Sri Batik Lanka boutique and all purchase transactions. By ordering from us, you celebrate and honour the living heritage of handmade Sri Lankan batik.

The Handcrafted Promise
Batik is a slow craft of wax and copper pens. Unlike synthetic screen prints, every hand-dyed selvedge, natural crackle line, and indigo vat shade carries individual artisan marks. These variations are the defining proof of authenticity, not industrial imperfections.
1. Authentic Handcrafted Variations:
Every piece in our collection is drawn with a copper tjanting pen or stamped with hand-carved blocks, then dipped in natural botanical and heritage vats. Minor irregularities in the wax crackle, motif registration, and natural dye tones are not flaws; they are the authentic signature of the artisan who made the cloth.
2. Pricing, Currencies & Taxes:
All prices on our storefront are quoted in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and include applicable taxes unless specifically stated otherwise. We reserve the right to correct typographical pricing errors before order confirmation.
3. Orders & Payment Methods:
Orders are confirmed upon receipt of valid payment or successful verification. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express via the PCI-DSS certified PayHere gateway, Direct Bank Transfer (Commercial Bank of Ceylon), LankaQR, and Cash on Delivery (COD within Sri Lanka).
4. Intellectual Property & Motif Copyright:
All batik motifs, patterns, archival photography, editorial text, and brand identities displayed on sribatik.lk are the protected intellectual property of Sri Batik Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. Commercial reproduction or copying without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction:
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kandy or Colombo.
